Rental Terms

Fosko Rentals LLC, a Virginia limited liability company based in Newport News, Virginia.

A 25% retainer is due at booking and is non-refundable. It reserves your date and is credited toward your total. The balance is due 14 days before the event and is charged automatically to the card saved at booking.

We will send reminders and then charge the card saved at booking on the due date. If the charge fails we will contact you by email and retry daily for 3 days.

You may cancel at any time; the retainer is not refunded. If you cancel more than 14 days before the event, no balance is owed. Within 14 days, the full balance is owed.

If we cancel your event for any reason other than something outside anyone's control, you receive a full refund including the retainer. We will also help you find another vendor if you want us to.

You may reschedule once at no charge to any available date within 12 months; the retainer transfers to the new date. Reschedule requests must reach us at least 14 days before the event.

Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, illness, or government order.

If we cannot provide service because of something outside anyone's control, such as severe weather, a natural disaster, illness or a government order, you choose a full refund including the retainer, or a transfer to a new date.

Outdoor setups need a level, dry area and shelter from rain and direct sun. If conditions are unsafe for guests or equipment (including rain, wind over 15 mph, or temperatures below 40 F), we may require an indoor location or pause service. Time lost to unsafe conditions is not refunded.

One standard 120V outlet within 50 feet of the booth, and a level area about 10 by 10 feet with 8 foot clearance. We bring the extension cords.

If power or space is not available at the scheduled setup time, setup delays count as service time.

Travel on the Virginia Peninsula is included. Southside Hampton Roads is $50. Other locations are quoted separately. Travel fees are stated as their own line item.

Extra time beyond the booked hours is $85 per hour, in whole hours, if our schedule allows. Overtime is due the day of the event.

If you need the booth set up early or closed during part of your event, for example during dinner or speeches, idle time is billed at $25 per hour. Idle time is not service time.

You are responsible for damage to the booth, camera, equipment, props or backdrop caused by you or your guests, beyond normal wear. We handle our own equipment; guests use props at their own risk.

We only use photos from your event in our own marketing if you actively opted in when booking. You can withdraw that permission at any time by emailing us and we will stop using them going forward. We never sell event photos and we never use photos of children in marketing without a parent agreeing in writing first.

The booking form has an optional launch offer. For our first 8 bookings we add a 4th hour at no charge, if you let us use a few photos from your event in our marketing. It is optional and off by default. You can book at the regular price without it. The offer is the extra hour itself. It is not a discount and cannot be swapped for money off. No review is required and nothing here asks you for one. The extra hour is part of your event: it is in the hours your agreement states, and it counts toward our latest finish time and toward the 6-hour limit on company events booked online.

The launch offer and the military discount cannot be combined. Today there are two: the launch offer above, which adds an hour, and a military discount, which takes money off your balance.

The military discount is not claimed on the booking form. Military, veteran, or military family? Book at the regular price, then reply to your confirmation email and tell us. After a quick chat we take 10% off your balance. Discounts do not stack with the launch offer. The retainer you already paid does not change, your agreement is not re-signed, and we record the reduction on your booking.

A backdrop is a paid add-on, one price for either of the two we own, and you choose which when you add it. A booking without the add-on has no backdrop: we will not bring one, and your signed agreement says so.

A custom backdrop is a paid add-on. We source one chosen for your event and agree the exact backdrop with you by email after booking, which is why it needs 30 days’ notice. We do not print logos or branding on backdrops.

Booking includes a separately checked consent to do business electronically under Va. Code 59.1-483, including signing the rental agreement online. You receive a PDF copy of the signed agreement by email.
